Hi, I’m Missy! This is my blog, where I discuss travel, history, scenic walks, and how they all intertwine.

Here’s where my journey started:

When I turned 24, I felt completely lost in a sea of “meh.” I was living the typical, boring, 9-5 life working as a sales rep at an insurance office.

I didn’t feel inspired by how I was living. The best part of my days was coming home and watching Netflix for a few hours before I went to bed and started the monotony all over again.

I decided to make a change.

I took my life’s savings that I was planning to put toward buying a house and decided to travel the world with my best friend, Beth.

Together, we took the world by storm. We’ve gone to the most scenic places, tried new foods, and discovered who we were deep down underneath what society was telling us we needed to be.

“Travel not to find yourself, but to remember who you’ve been all along.”

Travel didn’t change me and my outlook on life. It simply helped me recapture the passions that I felt like I had lost.

The biggest fascination I’ve found while traveling is the history wrapped up in every landmark and place you visit.

You’ll notice in these blog posts I’ll put a big emphasis on the history aspect of everything. Think of it like a history class, but in a fun way where you get to see pretty pictures of wonderful destinations 🙂

Anyway, that’s enough about me and who I am for now. For more, you can check out my blog and follow along in my journey as I carve my own path within the historic strolls that many have walked before me.

Thanks for stopping by!
